5.11 Tactical has re-invented the flashlight! Until now, one of the biggest problems with flashlights is that they require batteries to operate. Typically, the brighter the light, the faster the batteries fail. Anyone who's bought the popular CR123 lithium batteries can attest to the fact that they are far from inexpensive. The powerful lamps in todays lights can drain a typical set of lithium batteries in under an hour. Enter 5.11 Tactical's PC3.300 flashlight. The PC3.300 uses high power capacitors to store energy instead of batteries. The capacitors are extremely lightweight and rechargeable without developing a "memory" like Ni-Cad batteries. The best part is that the light completely recharges in only 90 seconds! That's no typo -- only 90 seconds from completely dead to completely charged! Once charged, the PC3.300 uses 3 high-power LEDs to put out a standard of 70 lumens. There is also a temporary "peak" mode which puts out a hefty 200 lumens, and a strobe mode. The case is made from a high-strength polymer which is water resistant and resists abrasion, cracking, and bending. The traditional top switch is supplemented by a handy tail switch. Just think of the money and time you will save never having to change batteries again!

The new Flashpoint is the most powerful two-battery Browning flashlight available. Driven by two 3V lithium batteries, this Luxeon LED boasts advanced electronics for a light that outperforms most others. What really stands out are the three brightness levels available (100%, 60%, 10%) and two flashing modes (fast strobe and S.O.S.). A rotating selector switch on the tailcap controls the electronics and a tactical, push button on-off switch on the end of the light makes it easy to turn the light on in a momentary function. This all-aluminum construction and O-ring sealed body is water resistant and features a metal pocket clip for deep carry in the pocket. Maximum illumination is 175 lumens and it has a lock-out switch to prevent accidental power on. Actual flashlight may vary slightly from picture.
